Thompson Counseling & Consulting (TCC) provides high-quality and evidenced-based counseling and consulting services to individuals, non-profits, educational institutions, and organizations in The Bahamas and the surrounding region. Our goal is to offer accessible and affordable services that promote personal growth and development through tailored approaches that meet each client's unique needs. We begin each service by assessing and diagnosing the clients' needs to understand their goals and create a plan to achieve them. Our ultimate goal is to alleviate psychological suffering and improve functioning and satisfaction in both personal and professional aspects of clients' lives. All services are based on evidence-based psychological and organizational development theories and delivered ethically and respectfully to the client. Our mission is to promote psychological safety and well-being for individuals and organizations through individual counseling, training, development, mentorship, and workplace counseling.
At TCC, we strive to make counseling more accessible regardless of your income or financial status. We recognize that counseling is typically seen as a luxury designated for the privileged. To this end, we work with our clients to figure out a holistic view and approach to how clients can afford our high-quality counseling services. We use a sliding scale approach to offer fees to our clients so that they can afford them and get the mental health services that they need.
